A Chinese mother's world is turned upside down when she discovers her daughter's secretive behavior, fueling her anxiety and leading to a vivid and unsettling nightmare. The nightmare manifests as a heated argument escalating to the point of the mother inadvertently hurting her daughter. Deeply disturbed by this dream, the mother becomes consumed by worry and assumptions about what her daughter may be hiding. The mother's distress strains their relationship, creating a widening rift between them. Through introspection and a journey of self-discovery, she learns the power of open communication. When the daughter opens up her secrets to her, she finds the opportunity to heal their fractured bond.
